It may sound like a new compilation of commercial house, but Ultra Session Beats 300 is a new festival tour that will be hitting those typical festival stops – Townsville, Ipswich, Cairns, Sydney and Perth – in October.
The lineup surprisingly boasts several notable hip-hop acts with Lil Wayne set to make his first tour of Australia alongside Cloud Control’s favourite rapper Kid Cudi and UK grime master Wiley.
The bill also includes a assortment of dance and pop including Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson, old school dance favourites such as Joey Negro, Seb Fontaine and Kosheen and pop acts Wynter Gordon and Alexis Jordan. Our mates at inthemix have dubbed it ‘Australia’s strangest festival lineup’ – and we’re really struggling to think of any reason to disagree.
